Ok, so throughout college, I was a member of my school’s colorguard, which is a part of the marching band. A few years ago, due to way too much drama to fit into one post, the University cut funding for the marching band and refused to continue to support it as a school sponsored organization.
For the past five years, the band has been a completely student run and student funded organization. I am so beyond proud of how far they have come, with so many odds against them. However, the university still refuses to support them. Therefore, this Pepsi Refresh project is one of the only chances they have to support themselves this year.
